UV Sterilizer

UV Sterilizer is a disinfection device which is widely used for drinking water system on board. UV Sterilizer consists of stainless-steel cylinder UV sensor, UV lamp, quartz tube, solenoid valve and control unit. The controller unit has 10-bit digital A/D to monitor UV intensity accurately. The system can monitor status of UV lamps by real-time and will give alarm information on LCD screen automatically once finding any faults of UV lamps. The controller unit will control working status of solenoid valve according to UV intensity and status of UV lamps to ensure provision of qualified drinking water. Meanwhile, the control unit also calculates working hours of the lamps, once the lamp has been working for 8000 hours, it will give alarm information and close the solenoid valve automatically. According to different requests on flow rate, we now have developed various types of products for client to choose.

Principle

Ultraviolet light is found between visible light and X-rays, the 254nm wavelength ultraviolet light is widely used in disinfection and ozone elimination. 

The Ultraviolet light penetrates cell wall and nucleolus of the microorganism, and destroy the molecular bond of nucleic acids (DNA or RNA), and make them lose the ability to replicate or die, which can kill the bacterial and viruses in water or air without using any chemicals.

Rehardening Filter

The equipment is used for fresh water treatment on ship. Distilled water enters the tank from the upper socket, goes down through the PH adjusting media layer and the filter sand, comes out of the lower socket. The PH value of the water will be adjusted to 7.0-8.5 without containing the solid particles and contaminants. 

After long time running, the contaminant will be contained in the tank. So the back-flushing should be carried out regularly to avoid high pressure drop and reduction in treatment capacity. 


Features

Remove the impurities in water such as solid particles, algae and suspension. Adjust PH value of distilled water to 7.0-8.5 to avoid the corrosion of pipes, heat exchangers and water tanks, etc. Add human-body needed mineral substances into water to keep the crew in good health during the long voyage. Back fushing function.
